Mohawk-Hudson Sail & Power Squadron is a unit of the United States Power Squadrons, a private, non-profit, non-governmental organization of 35,000 men, women, and families who teach boating skills to one another and to members of the public. Our excellent, internationally recognized, courses are developed nationally and taught locally, face to face, by qualified and experienced boaters of the Mohawk-Hudson Sail & Power Squadron. Included are comprehensive courses of several sessions as well as single meeting seminars. All are designed to meet the needs of today’s recreational boater. Check them out under “Courses Offered.”

The area served by the Mohawk-Hudson Sail & Power Squadron is roughly the New York Capital District of Albany, Schenectady, Troy and nearby counties.

Because of the excellence of our boating courses, members are entitled to discounts on most boat insurance policies and on membership in Boat U.S. Click on the Members’ Benefits tab to see the many benefits of membership beyond the camaraderie of fellow boaters.
